In light of the recent cuts in funding in the area and the worsening economic climate, many of the succesful events and festivals that Burngreave has enjoyed over the last few years have come under threat.
A group was set up as a result of concerns raised at the December 2008 Quarterly Forum Meeting, to ensure that as many of these Festivals and events as possible can continue.
The group currently meets on Tuesdays at 6pm at the BCAF Office on Spital Hill. Currently, efforts are focussed on arrangments for Abbeyfield Festival 2010, which will take place on Sunday July 11th.
